Welcome to Lava Lava Luau!
Emotions are like a force of nature, but with God's help, we can learn to take control of our emotions before a storm hits. During our fun week at the Lava Lava Luau we'll see what God's Word says about anger, sadness, jealousy, and frustration and learn how we can respond to others who may be feeling these emotions as well.
We invite kids entering Kindergarten thru 5th grade to join us June 1-5, 2026 at Walker Park & Pavilion in Temple.

LIABILITY RELEASE: In consideration of Renewal Church allowing the above child to participate in Backyard Bible Club activities, I, the undersigned, do hereby release, forever discharge, and agree to hold harmless Renewal Church, its directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively herein the “Church”) from any and all liability, claims or demands for accidental personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the undersigned and the above child while involved in Backyard Bible Club. Furthermore, on behalf of my minor child, I hereby assume all risk of accidental personal injury, sickness, death, damage, and expense as a result of participation in activities involved therein.
PHOTO/VIDEO PERMISSION: I give my consent to Renewal Church to use photo or video images taken of my child in church brochures, advertisements for the church, on the website, in social media, and in other church publications as they see fit. I agree to hold harmless Renewal Church from any liability which may result from the use of said picture(s). This form will apply throughout my child’s tenure at Renewal Church’s Backyard Bible Club. None of the photos will be for personal use.
